Introduction 소개 Introduction The Swiss-Korean Business Council (SKBC) in Korea is a business service organization founded on June 02, 1993 with the main objective to encourage the development of business relations between Korea and Switzerland. Upon request of member companies, the SKBC provides with specific advice and services and assists in establishing contacts between potential business partners. With expertise in high technology, special skills and industrial maturity, Switzerland is indeed one of the most interesting and valuable partners for Korea at this current stage of development. SKBC provides services as following : - Consulting of any kinds related to business activities between Korea and Switzerland - Identification of potential business partners in each country - Assisting, if so requested, in establishing contacts between partners - Providing addresses of reliable consultants and lawyers in each country SKBC offers publications as following : - Quarterly SKCC (Swiss Korean Chamber of Commerce) Bulletin, Switzerland - Swiss Business - Swiss Trade - Business guide to Switzerland - Directory of Membership SKBC organizes and hosts events as following : - Business luncheon on a monthly basis - Breakfast meeting upon request of interested parties for exchange of information and news The Swiss Korean Business Council is a non-profit organization relying on the support of members. SKBC’s current membership fee structure, which is subject to yearly adjustments, is as follows : - Individual member Won 110’000 - per year - Corporate member * less than 25 employees Won 110’000 - per year * 25 to 50 employees Won 220’000 - per year * more than 50 employees Won 380’000 - per year Members joining during the 2nd half of the year get a 50% discount on the respective annual membership fee for the current year.
